Singapore is one of those countries that take sustainability to heart, which is something that every modern parent would like to teach their kids. Oftentimes, sustainability and farming come hand-in-hand and the best way for us to pass on the importance of the two to the next generation is to let our kids experience these for themselves! What best way to do that than to take your family on a field trip to a farm in Singapore?
There are actually a lot of farms in Singapore wherein your family can meet different kinds of animals. This experience is an unconventional yet fun way to immerse your kids and yourself in the farming culture. We know that going to Sentosa Island may sound more interesting to kids but Animal Farms offer a great opportunity to introduce your young ones to ethically and properly cultivating our environment’s resources, thus helping Mother Earth.
In this article, we gathered 10 of the most immersive Animal Farms in Singapore that are perfect for Families to visit!

Humans and most living organisms won’t survive without ants. We’ll learn all of these and more at the Singapore Ant Museum!

You can go on a tour at Jurong Frog Farm where you can try catching a chunky American Bull Frog but if you don’t like the slime, you can also just feed the frogs at a distance. Practicing your aiming skills is already quite fun as well but the frogs probably have better catching skills than you!
Your kiddos will also love the Frog Quest Explorer tour where they’ll be given some quests for them to accomplish all over the farm. This is one great way to keep them busy and on their feet for the day, plus experiencing close encounters with these creatures will teach them to love frogs as they are!

Insectta
Insectta is an insect company that is the first of its kind in Singapore. Insectta started its endeavors back in 2018 when it set out a goal to eradicate food waste through the use of black soldier fly maggots!

Today, Insectta has grown significantly well as a leader in insect farming while still remaining true to its initial goal! It continues to find innovative ways to solve agricultural issues through the utilization of insects.
